Dr. Shelton is a 1989 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. In 1993, he opened Shelton Vet Care. He is married to Brenda and has sons Tyler and Kyle. He has a dog named Mackey. In his free time, he enjoys bird hunting, and spending time with his family.

Leann Kuhn Smith, DVM
Dr. Smith is a 1994 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been a valued member of Shelton Vet Care since 1999. She grew up on a farm in Shelbyville, where she currently lives with her husband Dustin and son Mitchell. Her family also includes her dog Sora and her 3 cats; Gerald Dean, Beethoven, and Mauer. On the farm she also has horses, chickens, and ducks. In her free time Dr. Smith enjoys running and road biking. She loves the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Fayella Horn, DVM
Dr. Horn is a 2020 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys her role in keeping pets healthy, but has an affinity for surgery! When Dr. Horn isn't working, you can find her enjoying family time with her husband and little boy, snuggling with one of her 4 cats (Lily, Promise, Wobbles & Agnes), or taking her dog, Leda Freda for a walk. She also enjoys reading a good book and cross-stitching in her free time.

Kyle Shelton, DVM
Dr. Kyle Shelton is a 2022 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is the son of Dr. Jeffery Shelton and grew up around SVC. He has a cat named Violet that he spayed then adopted in Veterinary School. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys hanging out with friends and going to sporting events.
